Dua When Entering Home
Abu Dawood
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا وَعَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
Transliteration
Bismillahi walajna wa bismillahi kharajna wa 'ala rabbina tawakkalna
Meaning
In the name of Allah we enter and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we rely.
Context
This dua is recited when entering the home. The Prophet ﷺ taught that when a person mentions Allah while entering the house, Shaytan says that there is no place for him to stay there.

Reciting this dua when entering the home brings blessings and protection. It reminds the believer to rely on Allah in all matters.
